Channel 4 Tonight - The Plane Crash

Was it me or did they over extend out a programme that contained information around common sense to 1.5 hrs? (sit at the impact end = die, hurt your leg = find it tricky to get out, brace position = works, non brace = doesnt, etc)

Yeh it was quite protracted wasn't it. I wanted the crash to be earlier in the programme to have more science in there.

I offered to put this on to watch but Mrs Eds didn't seen keen. Think it was a case of it might be interesting, but I'd like to fly again in future! Red Dwarf was a bit more light hearted for that time of night :-)

Sounds like it was a bit of a struggle to make a decent program out of a 30 second piece of interesting footage?

You'd think with all that technology, they'd be able to get a remote control with a better range...that one seemed to have less range than the model r/c planes!

Meh, not that impressed with the actual findings. Was cool seeing a plane deliberately crashed though which I guess was the only attraction of the programme to me.

Went to Egypt with (the now) Mrs a11y plus 3 of her female friends. Walking down the street in the middle of Sharm El Sheik at night, 2 women on each arm, the local bar staff were calling me a god...

Just finished watching it. The outcome was quite well... inconclusive and bland if thats all they found from the amount that experiment cost I would be pretty pissed as an investor.

They could have gone into a little more detail. Suppose it was channel 4 nearly an hour of build up and 10 min wrap up.

looked like a typical ryanair flight to me. They even did the trumpet because it landed on time, without the nose admittedly but it was still on time !

The last Lufthansa flight I was on wasn't far off landing like that, spine jarring. "Ladies and Gentlemen, there will be a short delay while the crew goes to pick up the parts that fell off during that controlled crash landing"

I think the pilot believed he was the Red Baron
