changing CF emblem on the bonnet question...

Just installed carbon fibre emblem on the booth (see pict below) and want to change the one on the bonnet also, will this emblem fit on the z4 or do i have to make it fit...?

You have to make the bonnet one fit. I used a Dremel to file away the rear until it flush fit. I then used silicone to bond to the body.

ok, if that is all that i have to do, i'll give it a go... ;-)
But is the size of the ones i mentioned ok? 73 mm?

Same here. Bit of work with the Dremel - be patient. I used double sided 3M tape to hold - been working fine for well over a year. Sorry, don't remember the size....

Worked for me too, just dremel the back and sides at 10am and 2pm, 4pm and 8pm etc, slowly slowly catchy monkey!

I dont have a Dremmel, and it took me about 2-3 hours with sand paper :headbang: , so do yourself a favour and get one if you dont already, needs a good shave to fit on the bonnet.

I bought this kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260480279532&viewitem=#ht_8590wt_1165 , so I would have to assume the 73mm emblem is right for the Bonnet (the sides and rear badge are same size, and bonnet is a bit smaller)

I don't own a dremmel and the last time I tried to mod it to fit i went through the weave, I would be willing to pay someone to do one for me.......any offers :?
