Central London Meet May 20th 7am

Hey everyone, let me know if you're still up for this...I am if the weather holds out, and perhaps if we make a final decision on Saturday as to whether to proceed or not...does that sound ok? Personally don't fancy it in the rain, but if it holds off, then why not!!
 
Depends whether people fancy a drive first and then breakfast or the other way round? Early start it has to be though..
 
Nick - still up for it, but I will have to go 'pending' on this one... SWMBO's car is at the garage broken again, and without it I will need to be at home on Sunday because of Wee Bing transportation requirements. I'll confirm or not Saturday, which fits with your suggestion re: weather anyway :cry:
 
Sorry nick but iam going to have to bail, ill be on the piss all day saturday watching the mighty hammers tonk blackpool so will probably have a hangover from hell

Ok if the weather is good, I'm up for it....drive first and then breakfast at the Ace.....7am start....meet on Sloane Street...just by Sloane Square.....on your way up towards Harvey Nicks....lots of parking along there
 
Okay, SWMBO's car neds a new alternator (£440 :cry: )... Should be done tomorrow, but need to wait and see. If it is then I'm still in, alarm will be set for 5am-ish :cry: and I have confirmed clearance for take off from SWMBO :thumbsup:

Looks like we are 5 now, so one group which is tidy :driving:

Question 1 - meet on Sloane Street just north of the square, right ?

Question 2 - what time do you reckon we'll end up at the Ace Cafe ? I need to give an estimated time of return to the family to keep 'em sweet...
 
Back at Ace by 10am....let's say Sloane St, single yellow line outside Prada shop....
 
The weather forecast for first thing Sunday is looking distinctly 'meh'... Not sure I should bother cleaning my car tomorrow - it'll be filthy by the time I get to Sloane Street :(
 
Let's call it by 6pm tomorrow....if it rains, we are off..... :thumbsdown:

Looking damp and cloudy for hoon-time still though... Wish we could pause the weather as it is right now and re-start it at 7am. I guess if it's really sh1t we could just go to the Ace Cafe for breakfast :D

T minus 2 and a half hours to decision time :?

Yep, Sean's just washing the car now (our version of washing the car, we know it won't be up to Nick's exacting standards!) incase it goes ahead. So we're keeping an eye out for the 6pm decision too!
