I've seen the guide on this and don't really fancy it. Rather just pay a pro to do it. But the first step it to find the bloody thing and get it out! Any ideas?
I disconnected the battery, dropped that lower cover and then removed the mounting bracket that the module is held onto and removed the GM5 and the mounting bracket as one. Then disconnected the three leads and away you go
Got it! Lol all that pointless messing about with the glovebox. Thinking I may buy one a working one of these modules and then get this repaired separately.
Yeh sorry it was just the relays. Although I still have a bulb error on the dash which I don't get because all bulbs work. This apparently is one of the gm5 issues according to my research. Although not sure in this case as I've sorted the relays.
Well that's good - I take it they were just push fit rather than solder? It might reset itself after a couple of starts, have you not got a copy of INPA?
