Hi All... I'm looking for the central airbag module for a 2003 3.0i e85 something with one of the following Part numbers...

65776938264 (10/01/2003 — 08/27/2009), Exchangeable retrospectively
65776939811 (04/01/2004 — 08/27/2009), Exchangeable retrospectively
65776962767 (07/11/2005 — ), Exchangeable retrospectively
65776935920 (03/01/2003 — 02/14/2005), Exchangeable retrospectively

Perhaps we should be keeping the old ones with a view to getting a batch repaired if it's possible?

Too right! I was planning on doing that if I can't find one, but the car is my daily, and I don't know if it will start if I remove the module!

There are a few on ebay - some cheaper and some are way more expensive, I think I have found one, but it's so much money for a gamble!

Wish I'd seen the post earlier, I'm still struggling to find one at a reasonable price... I think because these seem to be in demand right now ebay prices have gone through the roof!

I would definitely go down the repair route. Crashdata receive very good online reviews and charge considerably less than a replacement unit.

I'm almost certain that you'll still be able to drive without the unit and clear all the codes later. Although maybe someone could confirm this for sure?
