But wouldn't you be better off ordering the nav pack sick gives you 90gb(i think) of hard disc space and better idrive function? I have 6 CD changer in my current e86 but I hardly used this. In fact, most of my car listening had been radio + favorite CD of the time and I found using normal CD player more then adequate. I actually got too lazy to keep on changing CD s and stopped using it all together in the last couple of years.
john-e89 said:Quick question, I've ordered the pro 14 speaker system in the e89 and noticed an option in a catalogue for a 6 disc changer for the glove locker on certain models, anybody know if that's a standard fit on the pro or only fitted as an option?

I stick an iPod into the USB port, works fine, and contains 1000s of CDs. Album artwork displays on the idrive screen as well.

I think you only get a dozen CDs on the hard drive !
A 32gb usb stick is £15 and you can get weeks worth of music on it. (MP3 format)
Use the socket in the arm rest and the short style of if you must use the full length stick us a flexi lead.
Angie4m said:The CD Changer is an optional but as others have said put it on the Hard Drive. You can easily put your MP3s on to a USB and load it. The CD player also reads MP3s and you also have the additional USB Port in the arm rest. Plus you can use your MP3 player. You have many options which all work well![]()

One in the armrest, one tucked away at the edge of the glovebox.

john-e89 said:Ah the armrest one just allows you to play stuff through it and not add data right?

CorrectI kept trying to add the music and thought I was going mad until I did it via the glovebox.
