CD Changer Skipping

Hi guys,

Just a quick question to ask if anyone has experienced regular skipping when playing CDs from the multi-changer? I appreciate that the magazine is not in the best of locations - right over the rear wheels, but it is getting quite annoying now. Is this just something I should try and get used to or does anyone have a fix tip?

have you tried one of those cd lens cleaners? (cds with little brushes on which clean dust off the laser lens).

Welcome to the Forum Rob - and liked your pic in the December contest. Not sure i can help you with the CD changer issue other than DrNicks suggestion.

Mine has become a bit more prone to skipping over bumps since it has got cold, I might try a lens cleaner too

Thanks for the reply guys! Might try the lens cleaner option. I was just worried that it was a normal thing with Z4s, but that's reassured me it's not

Not normally a Z4 problem. Have you tried the obvious? (clean the CD itself) :wink:

I've always put the skipping down to the amount of potholes in the road on my route to work, coupled with my RFT's. Gonna upgrade to non RFT's this year and maybe the Intravee but will try a CD cleaner for now.

Mine stopped skipping when I got rid of the Bridgstone RFT 'spine-crackers',
