Yes I do as there is a leash law for cats. Cats are NOT wild animals and should therefore be INSIDE the house. As to rabies, we DO and it's dangerous to let your DOMESTICATED animal roam.

Besides, if your cat is damaging MY car, you are liable.

Must be different in the UK? It's extremely rare to find a cat that stays in the house all the time here.
Mine doesn't venture any further than the garden or driveway though but it's more than big enough for him.

Guess that is one of the differences on different sides of the pond! Our cats are free to roam but they are never far away when we call them... If we do try and keep them in for more than a day or so they get very grumpy and escape at the first oppurtunity!

Actually, I have a friend with a very large Persian cat who calmly walks on a leash. They take him everywhere with them.

If you cat won't, it means it was never properly trained as a kitten. Cats are much smarter and more trainable than you give them credit for.

I said it was as much his fault as the asshole who shot the cat. I didn't say it was totally his responsibility. Was the cat, indeed, on someone else's property?????????? If so they were BOTH at fault.

My old cat got shot 3 times by the same person, and they tried to poison one of them. Now he has Parkinson’s disease... what a shame. (sorry if that offends)

I have a direct debit with the RSPCA where i donate money to them every month and people do things like this!! God it makes me so mad and upset

He wants shooting in the head with a rifle too. I'd gladly do it myself. One thing i cannot stand is animal cruelty.
