I'd be up for joining the stands.
I destroyed a 200sx on Quarry Corner myself, so will not be attempting this in a car I actually love ;)

I didn't read the fine print carefully enough and they explicitly didn't cover the type of "driving" i was participating in... (drift)

Do they seperate run groups? Novices, intermediate, experts, etc? Or is it just x number of cars on the track? Is it passing on the straights? I didn't notice any signaling or point by's for passing, is this normal for track days here?
 
generally no, all cars are tun in the same group.

there is sometimes a 200bhp+ session but last time due to a SAAB catching fire and causing delays the session ended up being mixxed.

overtaking is on the right and only on straights, the guy in the video was pushing it a bit hard considering there are people who dont have a clue where they are going.

Okay, i've had the first of the information from Castle Combe for applying for the stand etc.

i need to get an idea as to if we can use 12 track passes between us as we will be able to get discount if i pay it all off at once, i need to confirm with Castle Combe but we should be able to split the times on these so multiple passes can goto a single person.

i'll be using 3 or 4 myself so just need to sell the other 8-9, price is discounted a little - £20 per session.

there will be 12 free stand passes which should be enough to cover everyone currently, if there is more interest then priotity is to those with track passes and then first come first served in the morning.

Looking forward to this, half tempted to go on track having finally had the chance to do this with mine last weekend but I think this sounds a little hectic for me.
 
whats actually happening with regard to tickets??
is one person buying a load and every1 gives that person money for their stand ticket?? :)

Sorry i've not been around recently to give an update.

regarding tickets, with the current number required only 12 i can get them all for free, we will meet at Morrisons in Chippenham 8:00am to distribute the admission tickets and head off to the circuit at 8:30am.

usually only about half the number of people who put their name down attend so i cant see any issues with the number of admission tickets for the moment. worst case senario is £10-15 on the gate entry.

i will submit our application this week for our stand.
