Respraying a boot lid is less intricate than a rear bumper, were the scratches on a flat plain of the boot too? with this being on the edge it will take longer to make a good job, which is a reason why it will be a bit more expensive.

My mother did the same, always parked next to someone as it helped her "line the car up" ... must be a senior thing :roll:cj_eds said:Only to find on your return that someone has parked right next to you anyway?
Two days ago my wife came home from a shopping trip with her Mum, and told me how her Mum had wedged herself into a tight space between two cars (when most the car park was empty). Apparently when Mrs Eds asked why she'd picked such a difficult spot, she said "don't you think it's always nicer to park next to someone" as if it's some sort of friendly gesture. Having some of my many rants in the back of her mind Mrs Eds relayed back to me when she got home this explanation for what I consider irrational behaviour !
