Pondy, you’ve bought (more than) enough cars, I’m sure there must have been something that gave you ‘that feeling’ and made you change your mind at some point
Nope. I'm a gullible idiot. If it's pretty (and low mileage) I just buy it. Then regret it after a week! :D
So what happened with the civic :poke:

Yes I might revisit an RF. I did spec one up 12 months ago but ended up with the i20N as was undecided. Think I find the small looks on the road a little off putting. Neighbour has just bought a 2 year old sel soft top in the crystal blue and it does look nice. Problem is there's nothing out there similar to the RF with a manual box

The steering and gearbox on the mk4 mx5 are just spot on. I do wish it was just a tiny bit bigger, as I am 6 4" and the engine is a bit agricultural. But after the S54 most are.

If Mazda had made it Z3 size I reckon it would be spot on. But I can talk as I really like these and quite tempted. About as small as you can get

The Civic had to go to make way for the frustration of the Z3 'thing'. Do I regret that? Yep. Would I make the same mistake again? Probably. :D

I meant how did it slip through the net as you said you buy pretty cars :D

Well in this one instance, I went for great car over pretty car. My wife hated it with an un-holy passion. My daughter called it the 'chav mobile' but they were both wrong. The FK8 Type R is a stupendous car in almost every respect (except the looks possibly).

My favourite car to drive of the 100-odd I have owned (including the many leases).

6ft you might struggle. I'm 5ft 11 and used fit in my old Suzuki Cappuccino fine. These days it's not my height but the back

If you're Japanese no issues :)
