Hey guys. I am following TomR's guide https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=115539&sid=cf43c72c0a2e70872796231574ab45a5 to reprogram two of my airbag modules.
While the first one was a little bit tricky to get done (SBSR85), I finally got it by changing the diagnosis protocol from BMW-Fast to KWP2000* and confirmed that the VIN was updated.
I can't seem to find the SVTR85 ECU anywhere, however.
I know this module is not in the European cars, which may have some thing to do with it, but there must be some way to reflash this module with the proper VIN. I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Has anyone else encountered this problem on the Passenger Door Satellite.
ZB number is 6927765.
