Calling all 35iS drivers. What's your overall mpg?

Does that depend on the make of the overalls?

Yup, another slow Friday, sorry.

I don’t keep track just fill up when empty, it’s only really a weekend car not a daily, when I’ve checked the trip computer motorways can get up to 36mpg short trip into town maybe 12mpg

My average on my mapped 35i is around 24

This thread is for the 35iS Nigel, premium class.....you cattle class wallers pipe down and know your place.....bloody peasant...... :poke:

On Euro Tours covering 2500 miles in a couple of weeks I would average 36/37mpg. This included long motorway runs (easy speeds 60/65mph) and some spirited driving on mountain roads. On just motorway runs I'd get 43/44mpg and town 22/23mpg. I don't have a heavy right foot!

Please forgive me for not knowing my place
:telloff:

I’m amazed if the figures are correct I got the wrong car

My 28i returns 39.2 mpg all year round. That’s including my 80 mile a day commute and weekend bumbles!
I once tried to milk it for all its worth over a couple of weeks and tanks and got a high of 39.7, after that restrained effort I went back to normal driving and it doesn’t budge from 39.2 mpg

If a 35 returns 40 plus with longer runs then I should have got one instead :headbang:

:P

just checked it again on way for MOT (passed no advisories :) ) and its showing 24.1 average, which just about puts it in the middle of my earlier post for motorway and town

Average over the whole of 2019 was 28.4 mpg, but I did do less than 2k miles just bimbling around in the nice weather with the Mrs

Yes, you're right. Those are very good figures for a twin-turbo'd three litre.

Mine averages round about 27 mpg used as a weekend car. However, I find it very difficult to get it to pass a petrol station without stopping!.
