C63AMG I think?

Caught a glimpse this afternoon of what must have been a C63 going through ironbridge. It was beautiful in white big arched, black wheels and seriously massive brakes. Wow I'm in love :P

I had a black one with black wheels and dark tinted windows driving in front / beside me all the way through Maidstone town centre the other day. The noise was awesome, I had no choice but to drop the windows :driving:

A friend had a clk dtm for a while. Believe he paid around 220k new then sold it less than 12 months later for less than 130k. Ouch!!

Why wasnt you roof down :poke:

Actually I've had a quick look on pistonheads and it was a black edition with the big wing on the back. Looked almost villainous

I had to take a brand new white CLS 63 AMG from Liverpool to a client in London last year. It was awesome. I was seriously tempted to get lost and go via Scotland. :D

You put your foot down and it just roars.

A friend had a black series. One of the most amazing sounding engines ever and actually quite easy to live with on a daily basis. The only problem was that it's far too easy to make it go fast and when it goes fast it starts trying to kill you ie they like going sideways with their tyres on fire.

The Black's are all ridiculously over-priced though. The new SLS Black is virtually the same price as a Ferrari F12. Not even in the same universe!!

Admitedly I'm not the biggest fan of ferraris but the SLS black is awesome IMO.
I was amazed how low and far back they managed to get the engine, it really is a mid engined car but with the classic front engine rwd looks.

I wouldn't say no to a C63 Black Series either 8)

I think they're ugly (SLS that is). £60k extra over a normal SLS for 59bhp and 70kg weight reduction on a 1600kg car.

As for the C63, a guy on PH recently sold his E61 M5 and replaced it with a C63 (not a black) with the Performance Pack (485 bhp) and paid £35k. That would be the way to go. I'd get the Blacks more if they were a bit more GT3-esque in their track/road ability but I think they are a ludicrously over-priced marketing gimmick.

The C63 is all mouth and no trousers. It can't handle the power it has although the noise is to die for.

V8 M3 is next for me I think, when the shiny factor wears off with IMmie.

Or an F430...

X2 except replace the m3 with a mustang gt500 and the f430 with a 360

See I drove a db9 and then a 360 and found the fezza was like a go cart and the db9 was a bit boring, and back then I adored astons

What didn't u like? Was it a manual?

I've been in a 360, it's a great car and I nearly bought one but my ex Boss (who had two) put me off with his tales of woe. The 430 is meant to be better, although I'm a way off being able to afford one. My offsprings education has put a stop to that
