-1. I want answers dammit! :D

I've met Nosa a couple of times, a top bloke. Shame someone has got under his skin but sh*t happens. To be honest, the quality of general posts on this forum is on the decline IMHO. Trying to find tasty car stuff in amongst all the Facebook style chit chat is getting harder and harder. There are still some rewarding posters I enjoy following but a lot of the really knowledgeable posters seem to be contributing less and less. :(

Yep but I notice it throughout the forum too. It's no biggie and I don't want a debate, it's just my own feelings having been a member for a while. I've no intention of doing a Nosa. :wink:
 
Bradders is right - there has been a definite shift towards non-Zed topics in the last 12 months or so. I put it down to the fact that a lot of the longer standing members have owned their Zed's for a considerable amount of time now and most topics about mods/how to's/problems have been covered several times. There doesn't seem much appetite to mod the E89 so far either. All of which means the void gets filled with current affairs/jokes etc.

It's not necessarily a bad thing per se. Just look at it as evolution. When the forum started you had to part with around £20k just to get a used Zed and now they are as little as £5.5k so the demographic and age profile of contributors is bound to broaden.

Nobody needs to pipe down, like I said, it's just an observation which I'm sure some others like OG agree with. For all we know, Nosa left because the forum started boring him and not because he fell out with anyone...
 
Some good points made on this thread. I thought it would be interesting to have a look at the memberlist and see some of the folks who have come and gone over the years - people who you thought would always be around.

What happened to that guy who had over 11k of useless posts? His avatar was a picture of a corss dresser. LOL Forgot his username. His not even on the members list anymore.
 
This post is turning into a bit of an obituary.

If only these accounts had not been deleted.....would have cleared 10k members by now.

Somebody previously referred to it as a virtual pub where you meet friends and talk shite (well some of the time). So i guess it's a new clientele, with new things to bring along
 
And there was that fella with the Fox Hat who always asked for the jokes to be explained ............

A while back I received an invite to join another group which I guess had broken away from this one or something. I ignored it but perhaps they did like my jokes after all.
