I'm considering buying an E86 Z4C in Carbon Black. It could do with a respray of the front and rear bumpers due to some scratches and scrapes on both. What is a good estimate of cost to factor in to my purchase?
Is that per bumper or collectively?Ducklakeview said:I'd say those prices are high. £200 should see a top job at a decent bodyshop.

Definitely not worth cheaping out on! That's why I'm trying to get an idea of what to budget for.Phil-E30 said:I suppose it depends on region. In NI, for arguably the best quality job available in the country, it cost £300 to have my front bumper painted. I learned the "buy cheap, buy twice" lesson with bodywork years ago. Not worth cheaping out on.
That's an impressive price for that much work! Mind telling us who did the work?Russ59 said:I’v recently had my front bumper, bonnet, front wings and new rear spoiler resprayed for £500.
Bonnet and bumper both removed, bonnet also took back to metal, apparently had 4 resprays in its time.
