Just as a disclaimer before someone jumps in, mine's an Alpina, not an ///M.
I had the B12 kit fitted last month, and also changed the top mounts at the same time - Rogue engineering at the back, and Compbrake at the front. I also had a 4 wheel alignment done, although I will get that redone after a few weeks after the springs have settled.
The difference between the OEM shocks and springs and the B12 kit is night & day. The roadholding is massively improved and alone is worth the investment. The ride is better (that is partially down to the age of the shocks) and the car has lowered slightly from the Alpina springs (although I don't believe its 30mm, its fairly close).
