After searching on here and finding a link to a stoptech brake judder article http://www.stoptech.com/technical-support/technical-white-papers/-warped-brake-disc-and-other-myths (very informative) it sounds like I need my front brake discs skimmed.
I just wanted some advice before I start down this route, to make sure I have read the article correctly.
I’m getting fairly bad judder at 60mph+ braking through the brake pedal and steering wheel. I also get light judder at other speeds. It sounds like I’ve over cooked my brakes and left build up on the discs.
Does this sound right? I was told at my last service I still had plenty of life left in discs and pads so I don’t want to waste money on replacing them.
