They are the brackets mate that fix the caliper to the hub assembly. Your pic has calipers, disks, pads and lines.
IIRC the calipers are quite expensive from new (for what they are) and places like Quarry moters et al are not usually keen to split from there brake kits. Good luck !
basically i've got some new calipers, but when i asked the guy if it had the carriers he didn't know what i mean and then after showing a few pics thought it might be on the whishbone with hub. so is it?...
My excuse is three-fold...1) the pictures are crap and there's so much rust I couldn't see what I was looking at, 2) my e34 M5 had a different type of assembly which mounted to another type of carrier/bracket on the EDC strut/hub, 3) I was supposed to be working at the time so only glanced at the pictures on my iPod with it's tiny screen.
I was pretty sure they were there after comparing the 4 pictures with realoem, but with the previous people saying no to the first picture and the fact that the person dismantling the car didn't know what a brake carrier was I had to double check.
