Looks great.
I was thinking more about the wings rubbing rather than the inners, but sounds like you've thought it through well enough. Let us know. On the one hand I'm keen to run a square setup for obvious reasons, but the other worries about loss of steering feel and the effect on the rack. Most of the 'cheapo' new mclarens run a 225 front section tyre I think, albeit a very different car I do wonder whether the ability to rotate tyres and perhaps provide greater front grip is outweighed by the negatives. Keen to see how you find it..
As for corner weighting, well given you now have the ability to do it and were setting up the suspension, personally I would have done it, but hardly the end of the world, you can do that some other time.

If I was doing it again... I would probably stick to a 255 all round.. I really wanted to run 265's all round so I could run Cup'2s then I got a deal on Ad08r's. the clearance with a 265 is tiny, on initial tests (Masking tape on the arch and liner) its showing no rubbing after throwing it into a roundabout, even a dab of braking mid corner to push my luck
Maybe its my driving style but I really suffered with under-steer even when powering out of a roundabout into a gentle turn, The M is much better that the Si thanks to the offset bushes, So far my private test track is showing a big improvement in front end grip, although the rear is a bit sketchy but I think that's due to my alignment. Any tips for alignment?
My mate has a Hunter alignment and he owes me a few favours so it didn't cost me, the thought of trying to find a good trustworthy garage to corner weight it is daunting... I don't trust garages hence why I do as much as I can!
Let me know when you are next on Track and I'll see if I can make it. I'm at Bedford tomorrow just testing, Silverstone for piston-heads Sunday service, If tomorrow goes well I want to book Snetterton at the end of the month.
