and no not a waste of time, because until i bottomed the other day i had assumed it was simply an uncomfortable ride and 16's would help and was unaware my suspension was stuffed in some way. A voyage of discovery you might say., and it was only after a visit to my local stealer and asked for a spec sheet did i discover it was an m sport, the last thing i wanted for comfort. So im wiser now.
 
You really need to get this done soon now, road warrior. I’m not sure I could handle it coming to nothing without some kind of self-harming. :rofl:

yea i saw that- we went lala didnt he...
truth is i went out in Neil's supercharged beastie, and aside from shitting myself and being very very fast, it was essentially the same car as mine.

ok, this shouldnt be as hard as this, but its turned out this way, bloody M sport , any way, i have located and bought some m spec springs, the shocks are doin my nut in, nobody aside from one place seems to have m sport shockers, and judging by the price, wants to put his kids through university on the profits,
so .. would these work ?

yep, it'll work as a front right shock, you'll need
1 x BILSTEIN B4 front left shock absorber 22 164568
1 x BILSTEIN B4 front right shock absorber 22 164575
2 x BILSTEIN B4 shock absorber 19-158983
if you're replacing all four that is, I linked these in an earlier post

what came off were genuine bmw shocks and springs = is it possible they are 14 years old ??

Not just possible, but in the case of the shocks, likely. A friend just had his replaced on his Z4C and one of the fronts had zero oil left, despite the leak being too small to be picked up during MOTs.

Nice work. Do you do normal driving too or is it mainly just speed bumps? :D
 
... assume u have had an alignment, or will that be after all the other suggested wallet opening needs are addressed?
