Sooner he’s fit again the sooner he’s back to the front.
He does have his own real home in London though im sure?Smartbear said:ronk said:Smartbear said:You obviously wouldn’t be happy no matter what Boris did Ron.

Im afraid you couldn't be more wrong!
My opinion would be equally applied to anyone in that position - All I suggest is that the rule makers are seen to be abiding by the rules they make.
I think you’re twisting this for your own ends, number 10 is where the prime minister stays while at work.
He’s just got out of intensive care as you know, now he’s not at work & needs to recover. Downing st isn’t the place for that as it’s his work place. It’s not his “holiday home” as you put it, it’s available for every pm and doesn’t belong to Boris.

Boris typically lives at No 10 and my understanding is that his London flat was sold in 2019 however to be fair, while grand, No 10 is more of an office than a house, with cabinet meetings etc being held there amongst a swathe of other Government business, I am willing to accept that it is not the best environment for anyone to recover plus there will be the temptation to just pop his head into said meetings etc which is not recovering. Unlike Charlie's escape to Scotland I dont begrudge Bojo going to Chequers.

Sorry, feeling grumpy as I should have landed on the Red Sea coast of Egypt about 3 hours ago!
