Boot won't stay closed or lock!

Hi,
I have done a search but nothing clear on how to fix.

I trapped my gloves in my boot and now it won't stay closed. I have had a good luck and the clasp just stays open! You can close it with a pen (simulating the bar it usually latches onto) and when you press open on the key it fires open as usual.

Any ideas on what it could be / how to fix it would be apreciated!

Most likely just needs adjusting so the locking catch is going in far enough to trip the mechanism. I suggest your gloves knocked it out of alignment

Can't remember and my lovely wife left the Zed outside last night while I was away so it's under 8" of snow now

Has to be a simple set of torz bolts that clamp either the lock mechanism or the boot lid 'pin'. I'd put my money on the pin.

Cj10jeeper you are a legend! Very easy fix, 2 torx bolts holding the bar in place, loosened off, adjusted accordingly, job done!

Something of an armchair diagnosis, so glad it was close enough to get the job done.

Came across the pizza issue, most responses were taking the p'ss about trapping a pizza in the lock so thought better not to go into details! :wink:
