Boot won’t open when first unlocked

Hello chaps, just a quick question about another potential roof problem.
I unlocked the car yesterday afternoon but the boot would not open.
I could see the red light was flashing on the roof button inside the car.
I locked the car and unlocked it again and all was well.
Same thing this morning, unlocked it and couldn’t open, locked and unlocked and all was well.
Any ideas as to the problem?
I haven’t research it yet but thought I’d ask on here incase anyone had experienced similar.

Mine did the same for a few days in mid November when it was very cold.
Opening/closing the windows or pressing the roof open then close button sorted it.
We were away at the time so I was panicking a bit as I needed to get our luggage packed away.
Using the above technique I got it open. However driving back home for the first mile or so I was getting the odd roof not latched 'bong'
Drove over a speed bump and it stopped.
As soon as the weather improved and the temperature increased it worked fine.

I’ll go and find some speed bumps and cross my finger.
In other news the car went into low power mode on the drive home earlier

Could be the cold weather and some sensor not quite activating or broken wire, contracting in cold.
Boot won't open if it thinks the roof is not fully locked, like my car today.
I know i have wire problem left wires to roof, windows stuck open, bonging and red light flashing on the way home.
Hopefully fix tomorrow.
