I managed to buy a ticket from another forum - and got my name/address changed - however too late to change the car details but I think I'll manage to change at Silverstone (as ticket etc. is in my name - I hope - does anyone have any experience of this from last year ?)

You could try searching for Silverstone Classic CCM tickets for sale - I believe you could buy them from any car forum - there's many car clubs / forums attending - though not sure when it gets too late to change the name & address ( I managed to do it on-line with the reference number but not the car reg).

Ye unfortunately too late to bring the car in. I tried to get mine in last year at this time and they were having non of it :( so just met up with everyone and spectated.

Tom - what ticket did you have then ? was it the CMM / car club type package or just a regular visitor ?

I went down to spectate also last year..turned up on day and bought a visitor ticket on gate. My Zed was in visitors car park. IIRC there was an issue with them accepting cards...or their machine was broken so maybe take cash too.
 
Just as a reg walked through the gate, but as ruby said they didn't accept card on some gates so try take some cash with you.
 
Yes I think so. Though to be fair it could probably sorted out if the two parties called up and explained the situation.

All cars are located around the BMW UK area.
 
Have I left this to late to get discounted tickets? Not too fussed about getting on the stand (car's too dirty for that currently!) but discounted entry would be nice.

Regrettably yes, though doesn't stop you turning up on the day & coming over to meet everyone else
 
Question - anyone received their tickets yet, as mine are being sent to my old address & I need to know when they're likely to arrive to collect.
