I assume Taz's tax disc holder is OK?

I would think either the Z4 front window sticker or the tax disc holder is ok

these cost £3 and £5, pm me anybody who requires one

Mines been pride of place in my window for about a year :D me and my dad have a weekend ticket but still need to sort some accom was going to stay in London with some fam but think its a bit far to travel 2s a day.

Right then, based on the feedback so far, most of us seem to be coming on Saturday only, with a few doing the Sunday or whole weekend.

We'll have space for 35 cars on the Saturday for us to be grouped together which should give us room for a Gazebo (weather permitting I'll bring mine)

We've agreed that the forum identifier is the badge or tax disc holder which will need to be on your windscreen to allow the Stewards to identify our group and make sure we all end up in the same space.

Now just to agree details on meeting at the Holiday Inn beforehand so we can convoy in together :)

I will be away on Saturday for 2 weeks, so if you want a window sticker its order now or in 2 weeks time

Looks like we're being relocated as just received this - anyone know if this a better or worse location... though looks like we get direct free access to tea & biscuits...

How's the Z4-Forum Gazebo Taz?

First some really good news!

Due to some work that is going on, out of my sphere of influence, we have been approached by Goose the Silverstone organisers to relocate our display from the original planned position. Goose has been asked to do this by BMW UK so that we can be put with BMW UK. We have been asked to put two groups one of 44 and one of 20 right by the front and the north of the BMW Unit. as we have been approached we have said yes to this request. I does make a few changes to the plans we were working on but we hope that it will benefit us all. The balance of the cars will be in the area behind where the BMW Display unit is. BMW Plan, apparently, to open the rear of their unit so that we can go along with our car keys and get a cup of tea etc.

This obviously makes some of our planning a little more tenuous as we do not yet have details of the changes but I thought It important to communicate this to the attendees ASAP. I will be getting more details in the next few days and Ian Darren and I will then try and circulate some form of plan drawing so that people know where we are going and what we are trying to pull together. So you will get further emails from us via the same mechanism.

In all we have heading towards 300 cars registered, and the 2 for 1 tickets are now finished so I do not expect the numbers to increase. (we are struggling to find enough Marshals so if you know of anyone who doe snot have a ticket and would put in a few hours early labour as a Marshal getting us into the right places please get them to contact either Darren Ian or I please.)

At the moment we have been asked to set up the groups identified in the list below. These are the only groups that have asked to be set up. As a ³Event Committee², Darren Ian and I do not have pre-cognisance to know what other groups need to be allocated for. The Group Identified as BMW CC GB. are the display vehicles that will be outside the Clubs Tent and will one hopes be representative of the Marque. Simon Alcorn as you will see is co-ordinating the Alpina display and on the Saturday and Sunday we have BMW Park Lane with us as well. Neil McDonald is grouping the E30¹s for Sunday as a Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the E30.

Apart from that we have been asked by some of the Zed forums to allow them to co-locate so that they can Fly their own banner within the BMW Car Club Wider family. No Regions, Or other model specific interest groups have asked for, gazebo¹s, grouping or anything else.

What we need if anyone wants to make a case for a group is what the interest group is, a nominated contact point and the number of cars on each day that we have to cater for. please do make sure that you specifically have the numbers and that the people are not registering with another interest group as well.

Obviously there will be many as well that do not fall into any interest groups ( or are happy to just be there) and at the moment for them, the majority we are planning to co-locate the Zed¹s together, The M-Power Cars together and then the many other models as a group. (personally I do not know enough about the various models to be able to break them down further but a couple of people have offered to help, so we will try to keep you up to date as things change/get refined.

The following list will be updated soon (and May become irrelevant as a result of the latest change of location but we will be trying to facilitate what we can that we have been asked to) but I thought I would include it as an idea of where we are at present, and also some of what we are planning:

Jembo's mail missed the end table:

So no rep from us yet, or indication that we are bringing gazebos (had to look up the plural for gazebo  )

This all sounds quite interesting... more involving. I'm travelling direct on Saturday from Manchester. Look for the guy with bags under his eyes from a super early start. I don't suppose with these recent changes we know what time we need to arrive as yet?

Hi

Following a change of plans I'm hoping to become a (very) late entrant to this, representing the Z4-forum Scottish contingent, which is a tad noticeable by our absence !

Can you please add me to the list provisionally as I try to secure tickets, with infield parking. Are none of the Z4 guys camping ? If not I'll look to book the Holiday Inn.

Happy to assist with anything I can.
