BMWCCGB Zedfest, 26 – 28 July 2013, Silverstone Circuit

Yeah, great news about the parade lap, but as Maniac says, we were done by 5 last time. I think I will need to work harder to arrange some entertainment for Wee Bing this time - he won't be taking a nap :)

Bring a rugby ball along we can have a forum sevens match?

There's an idea

I have cones to mark a pitch too :D

Wee Bing will run us all into the ground though...

I am sure he will but it could be a good laugh. To be honest i am happy just to stand in a circle and chuck/ kick a ball. Well me you and wee Bing we have almost half a team.

We need Woots, Tom and JJ to keep the average age down and fitness up :P

Tough call on the hotel. If the weather's not great then a hotel is appealing, but if the weather is like last year the early morning noon was one of the things that made the day special.

woo hoo parade hoon!

6 pm eh?

I think more organisation is definitely required this year at least that will give Mrs Greeno the opportunity to talk to some one other than me.

More than a few hours together and she starts getting a bit twitchy.

there were BBQ's and all sorts of things appearing out the back of those Z3's

Barbecues are ok this year too. As are gazebos and forum banners. Just need someone from here to take the lead and let me know what you want :poke:

Might also be worth z4-forum choosing one of the holiday inn expresses to base yourselves in - the rates are very good. Check out the link on the first post. I think that the folk from zroadster.org are using the Northampton one.

It was quite a slick operation and planned a few months in advance. Hot tea and coffee all day, and we even had a large Zed Fest chocolate cake made specially. Oh and the BBQ'd bacon sandwiches were top notch :)

I've got a small gazebo kicking around I could bring as long as we're able to tie it down

BBQs and Zeds don't mix (i cant see people wanting a BBQ in their boot unless it's brand new or been freshly detailed!) unless we bring a few of the supermarket disposable ones along....

After reading through the first 5 and last 5 pages I got fed up.
Would it not be a good idea to start a thread of who's bought tickets, what type of tickets and what days?
Basically what i want to know is, Is everyone buying Saturday CDM tickets?

That's what I'm here for Shaun  I'll be keeping the first post up to date with attendees (as I did last year) - there wasn't much point doing it until I had a decision on the parade lap as so many were hanging on for this. Rest assured that I'll have that first post updated by the end of the week, just need to wade through all the posts...
