BMWCCGB Zedfest, 20 – 22 July 2012, Silverstone Circuit

Im struggling to follow the instructions vs the map?! Are we the yellow or longer black line? I assume yellow but can't seem to match that with the written lefts n rights etc... I'll just keep my eye out for marshals lol

Yep, follow the yellow. The BMWCCGB have been on site all day today putting up signs - apparently you can't go wrong so long as you keep your eyes peeled

Myredzed and Stuart - great job, thanks

Goddamn rain!! :headbang:

Looks like its going to rain all the way down to my hotel today. I think I'll be trying to find a jet-wash in a garage somewhere this evening.

Guys & Gals, in the event we don't all hook up first thing (I am rushing off to try and book something with Wee Bing, for example) we should agree to at least 'cluster' somewhere after the parade lap, when we will all still be with our cars - perhaps at a coffe / hospitality tent, or the BMW CC GB stand ?

Good idea ?

Sounds good to me Bing

Am I wrong do you think to assume that the vast majority of Z4 owners there tomorrow will be on here?

Guessing so, quite a few from zroadster.net - but are they mainly Z3 ?

Me too. never actually made it too any meets and been around for a while so it'd be nice to put faces to avatars.

Suggestions? BMWCCGB stand would prob be easiest.

Ok my wing man has just pulled out so I have a spare seat and ticket if anyone wants to run shotgun and can be at my house in Reading for 7.00 or Chieveley services for 7.15 it's yours for free . :)

Kin ell - you will be there early :o

Can you nip over and book wee bing a hot lap in the fastest car they have there ? :D

Safe journies to everyone on their travels to & from the event.

MYREDZED, if I don't catch you on the day, thank you for all you have done in organising this for what could potentially be the largest gathering of Forum members todate.

Well, it's been torrential rain for most of the day in the 'shire and I'm soon to be setting off with the car unwashed. Unless I find a jet wash tomorrow morning close to the hotel, I'll be a front runner for the 'scruffiest Zed' award. :(

Arrived in MK, still raining. Cleaned the car anyhow so just a little spray on the sides from the journey to the hotel from the car wash (dammit) Hopefully it'll look reasonable for better(?) weather tomorrow...
