UPDATE - MAJOR Change of Display Location > NEW DIRECTIONS

Due to poor ground conditions at Silverstone, we have been moved at our request, to a new position as follows:

New Directions
From Car Park 49 ticket control... Go to Tee junction, turn RIGHT and proceed to Stop line. Turn LEFT and proceed over the Bridge until the Mini Roundabout, turn LEFT and proceed in a straight line until you come to a STOP at the TRACK. Turn LEFT and proceed SLOWLY, under the bridge and prepare to STOP where directed by Club Marshals to your SIGNED area. We are using the disused circuit as our parking area, with all Classes-Models-Types in sections. All facilities are in this area. We will use this position for FRIDAY and SATURDAY, and going to AREA 14, adjacent to this position, for SUNDAY. We hope the better weather will improve our event.

Information will be given throughout the event duration from the Club's marquee.

Thanks for your patience and understanding on this. Finally, PLEASE pass on ALL this info to others you know are coming to zedfest.

DON'T FORGET YOUR DRIVING LICENCE!

This is great news indeed... But for those of us not familiar with Silverstone, is there a site map showing the area ? I am sure I can work it out, just wondering if one exists...

Looks like we'll be unlucky to see any rain. The first photo is the latest long-term forecast for Silverstone, the second the forecast for where i'm staying on Friday. Both from different sources but with very similar predictions.

Given the number of cars gathering I guess we will be able to find each other - but if anyone wants to swap mobile numbers send me a pm.
I might well have wandered off watching the racing rather than chatting.

Will keep a look out for the Guiseley family i'll put my newly aquired compass into action

If i'm struggling to find you i've got your number.

After looking at the weather for the weekend i decided to give the car a going over so he is fuelled up and gleaming, just need to drop the fur kids off in the morning then were on our way, so look forward to meeting up with everyone on Saturday

I'm going to hide behind you on the way in to Silverstone

Washed mine and ready to go but expect the 160 mile trip and over night hotel stay to bugger any chance of it looking clean :(

Me too - it will get washed and dried tomorrow, was hoovered at the weekend. Quick detailer on arrival then done. However I need to get Wee Bing to AA World before anything else to try and get him a passenger hot lap in something really fast :D

UPDATE - LOCATION MAP

Take a look at this map to give you an idea of the route to our revised zedfest area. Look out for BMWCCGB marshalls in HiViz vests and BMW signs along the route to our area.
