Can't stretch to a GoPro right now, but I am hovering over that Dogcam bullet that someone got a while ago, just to test the water... Hmmmm...

Where did you get the Go Pro Stuart? I've been thinking about taking the plunge and had a quick look online the other night and best price was about £235 for the HD Hero 2 Motorsport edition.

I was going to say, 'you do realise...' before seeing the rain part of your message. I will be heading down Friday night, and staying over for the Saturday event. No doubt it will either rain overnight or rain at the event spoiling any hard work on the cleaning front. I suspect the cleanest cars will be the people living the most local to Silverstone!

Bottle of Megs quick detailer and a couple of the 36 microfibre cloths Jembo made me buy last week

He's bringing a whole bag of them to share out :D

Not using a waterless wash on mine, having spent £500 on the paint detail knowing me I'll end up grinding in some grit!

Fair point, but as long as it is just dust and light grime, not been rained on, then I have used Megs regularly to lift it off the car between washes and seen no adverse effects. Spray on, wipe off gently, buff, job done in 10 mins. Though my paintwork's not in as good condition as yours.

I use a product called greased lightening showroom shine. Has carnauba in a cleaning liquid really safe and adds lots of shine.

So without wishing to side track the thread too much, what does (particularly a black paint car owner) everyone think to be a good waterless detailer, is the dodo stuff any good? I've used their product thats supposed to make drying easier and thats a bit rubbish tbh so I'm not so sure on paying out for a detailing spray from them. It can't have any solvents in it, because I've had the car protected with Blackfire which will be ruined if a solvent based product is put on it..

Amazon marketplace. That's what I paid plus 50ish for the digital back

Bing, my shotgun for the day has a Dogcam in his Caterham and loves it

Hopefully I'll have some Taz "Alpina" badges to give away to any Roadster S drivers coming along. I'll post out leftovers to the few forum members who are a part of our exclusive roadster club chapter :-)

I too had a look and there are some on :ebay: for £199 but having just bought a camcorder a couple of months ago I opted for this

Will see how it works both inside and out :)

None or nine? No matter, I'll just have spares. I'll send you the money over the weekend

Sadly, unexpected events have come up (landlord gave us notice) and we aren't going.

I don't think the tickets are transferable. If they are, we have some.
