BMW Z4 Name Survey

The Zed, The Westfield, The 320 (or occasionally The Tractor as it's diesel). Two of these have personality, but none have gender or need to be anthropomorphised.

Naming cars is weird and pointless imho :fuelfire:

Thought it was just a thing people did in college for some reason or another.

Mine doesn't need a name, it's got a number... :D

If you buy the Alpina from Birds you'll soon start referring to it, at least on here, as #255 rather than 'my car', 'my zed' or 'my Alpina' - that's very close to giving it a name :poke:

Yes, but its not a human name! It's still referring to part of the car itself.

Calling it Steve (or beast as this thread says I should xD) I meant is pointless and weird :p

This is true. Have been contemplating a plate anyway though, luckily only the ones for like £250 :p

Previous car referred to as 'the focus'

Current car referred to as 'the zed'

Look forward to the day my car is referred to as 'the Aston' :D

I don't get the name thing but in regards to that list... I have a friend who calls my zed the batmobile, and another who refers to it as the beast...

Friend calls mine "the compensator", wife calls it "the midlife crisis", "money pit" and "your car" .... for me it's #108
