FOR SALE BMW Z4 M Brake Cooling Kit

For Sale
I was at Combe today and even with the ducts had a bit of fade, was just one of those hot days where it'll happen regardless towards the end of the stint. Probably didn't help not much left on the front pads though tbh.

I meant to do a thread for a group buy to get a bit of organisation on it but been uber busy, will get round to it. If anyone wants to start the ball rolling then feel free and I'll get round to contributing to it.

Running on low (e.g., <=5mm thickness) pads will bring way MORE heat into the pistons and transfer to fluid. No ducting will help in that scenario under heavy braking corners. Better off swapping to new pads midday or dialing it back a lot and avoid any serious threshold braking imo.

Yup exactly. Wasn't chasing lap times so all good.

Not that I had any doubts but this kit works. Did a recent track day where I was able to test the brakes ability to go deeper/further on the main straight where I typically hit 140mph+. After repeated laps, pedal remained firm. After coming home, I inspected the pads and calipers and confirmed the dust boots looked good. I opted for the 2.5ā€ inlet for ease of routing if the 2.5 works this well, I’m sure the 3.0ā€ will be even better.
I am also looking at the 2.5" for ease of routing - in hindsight, would you have gone with the 3" or is the 2.5" already tricky enough for clearances of pipe routing? Sounds like you're happy with the 2.5"?
