BMW Fest Gaydon August 19th 2012

Not as far as I know. There were a couple of Zeds in it, but no E89's, from memory. Nick's formed part of the 'Zed' diagonal line.

Was it worth it Phil? I couldn't make my mind up whether to go or not and decided not to in the end.

It was a last minute decision. A week ago I wasn't even thinking about it.

On balance with living within 45 mins drive and just £15 to get in, it was well worth a morning walk around in the sun. I much prefer drives and Zed meets, but this was an opportunity to see a lot or rare metal and models we don't see (albeit it hidden amongst a lot of very average BM's).

I'd say once every couple of years for this one.

That E89 had a cream coloured roof to match the cream leather interior.....interesting! That's all I'm saying!!

Wasn't a wrap, some sort of metallic paint which looked awful in the flesh!

Went to the national festival at Gaydon yesterday, was hoping to see some modified Zs for some inspiration to do a bit for mine but the only seemingly non standard one there had just sprayed the wheels black.

I keep on thinking I should get along to Gaydon but then I wonder if it's worth a 200 mile round trip, after an awesome ZedFest would it have been an anti climax?? Maybe next year...
