BMW Fest Gaydon August 19th 2012

The silverstone trip was worth the travel etc, lots on, to do and see and take part. I'm not sure whats actually going on at Gaydon other than shops/stalls and other peoples cars?

I'm surprised you've held on to it this long, you've been talking about getting rid for a while now. As long as you turn up in something bavarian you'll be ok :rofl:

That's my problem with Gaydon. I'd like to go, but (having been 2 or 3 times recently) there just isn't enough happening at the event to make the trip/cost worthwhile :(

What are you going to replace the Z with, is it italian/german or.....................

Yeah, been toying with the idea for a while. I get bored soo quick these days its beginning to get disturbing lol

Spotted a nice limited edition M3 in Dakar Yellow and made a 'stealthy' enquiry through my friend at the dealership, but havnt spoken with the sales man yet :? If the figures are right i'll change her in, if not i'll keep the z for a few more months.

Mmm, I've been thinking about going for a couple of years and thought I'd do it this year after attending the awesome ZedFest, will I be disappointed?
 
Yes Ray - Myself and a few BMW enthusiasts are heading up to Gaydon, early Sunday am. We are exhibiting our Beemers in the show and shine.
Was wondering if anyone from the forum in the Berkshire and surrounding areas were wanting to join us?
Going in convoy at a sensible pace from BP garage in Bagshot, about 7am start. Getting there early to miss the traffic and to prepare the cars etc.

i missed a chance to promote the Z4 sticker :thumbsdown: , it would have been nice you were all displaying it on this event

Hi mate, limited tickets but try calling BMW Car Club, I am with Gerry Speechley and Phoenix Motorsport... we are displaying 5cars at the show. Maybe throw in the line that we have been busy trying to get the car ready in time and just made it etc etc. tickets for the show and shine are 5 quid and entry is something like 20 quid I think. Send me a PM if you get tickets! :thumbsup:
 
Hi,

I will be attending without hesitation.

Can I ask if anyone is passing warwick on route and has a spare seat ?

The wife needs a lift from warick station to the museum, about 17 miles.

I did something stupid and bought a two seater car for a 3 person family :rofl:

She is getting the train most of the way.
