I had a door seal replaced at the main dealer yesterday. When I picked the car up I had a quick walk around, apart from being covered in seagull poop there was 2 parallel scratches on the rear of the boot lid (3 inches long) a couple of scratches by the drivers side door handle and a 5 inch scratch by the idicator on the wing...
The service dept quickly agreed to polish them out, at first glance they had dissapeared but when the sun came out they were quite visible again - luckily the service guy (who was very good BTW) made a note on the file and said to bring it back at my leisure to have all the scratches remedied...hopefully back to it's usual pristine finish
How do we manage to keep our cars scratch free yet a professional group of mechanics scratch buggery out of our cars? :x
The Dealership, who on the whole is very good was Sytner in Cardiff
- guess I was just unlucky...
