Blacked out rear lights!!

Not my cup of tea, but whatever rocks your boat is perfect for your Z. I like the fact that each Z4 driver chooses its own mods according to his own taste.

Yes thatll teach you! :poke: :)

They don't look too bad, but I think the z4 taillights are pretty distinctive in best in red.

However, would be interesting to know if they're legal.
There's a difference between controversial and illegal, I don't think the police could pull you over for bad taste... Not yet anyway

Just fitted mine today!

Yes I know there is no badge. I am in the process of putting on new badges :)

Tried blackout film on my Sapphire black zed rear lights and it was just too much, so 'fraid they didn't last the week. Bought the quad spots from Germany instead and now with the LED bulbs installed, I'm really chuffed with the result.

instagram whore :P

Ben, out of interest, are you fitting black & white CF badges or simply replacing the blue & white one?

I've got clear lights on the back of mine and they get pretty much the same response on the look from some people but I like them and thats what counts

To be honest if I had facelift lights I would be happy to leave them standard as they look good but the standard pre facelift lights are just so ugly

For those of u who doubt the validity of night time driving with these mods... Here's a pic of mine at night...

Could just be due to the quality of the photo, but the lights don't appear to be that bright to me, so still think it could still be an MOT failure.

Well i think the fact that the number plate light seems brighter in the pic is a real give away how dark there are!
