Thanks for all the kind comments guys. It makes all the time and effort that went into this project that little bit more worthwhile
@ Bing
I think in principle yellow calipers would look good but on the standard calipers I think its a no no.. They are too small to draw attention to IMO. At the minute I have them painted in gloss black. They dont draw attention to themselves but if you do notice them they look clean and have a nice appearance. Thanks for your input though and I will be leaving the yellow tape off.
@ Halfcolin
I understand where your coming from and I thought this right up until fitting them hence the reason for purchasing the yellow tape. For now at least I will keep them as they are.
@ Spud
Car is Sapphire Black.. For me it was a choice between that and Ruby black. Both lovely colours!
@ Darren Slone
HaHa, Stealth city indeed.. The batmobile is almost complete. Just need to order my outfit off eBay
@ Sars
Thanks.. I like the look probably equally as much as my summer wheels but not more than. It's nice to have two different looks I think
@ Craig3.0
Thanks Craig.. As I said above, I still like the Cades wheels that little bit more but I love this look for the winter
.. I'd be very interested to see your 108's as I'm sure everyone else would.. Get some pics up!!
@ dan yeates
It's typical isn't it that when I decide to fit them the temperature goes up.. We saw 18 degrees here yesterday
Back to 8 degrees this morning though so I think towards the end of the month they will become useful.. It's definately worth noting though that these tyres arent very good above 11 degrees. The traction control is constantly fighting. The tyres have only done about 20 miles though so not worn in yet.... I want some ice and snow... NOW!!!
@ markdesigns
I will look into the spacers.. I take it you got longer bolts? What do you do about the locking wheel bolts though? Thanks for your comment.. I too love the new exhaust
@ Tomscott
Stop spending my money. I'm supposed to be saving for a new house!! **cough cough; how much is it? cough cough**
@ aquazi
Thanks aquazi
.. Tyres are Falken HS-439 Eurowinters.
Would spacers have that effect.. I wouldn't have thought they would as you aren't changing the diameter of the wheel?
