Black Z4M wheels on Black Coupe ... Fitted!!

Just wondered if anyone would be kind enough to do me a quick photshop image of my coupe with black M wheels on it. Preferably with a yellow line around the rim if such a thing is possible as I have no idea how photoshop works?

Pretty please with a cherry on top :D

Anyway below is a pic of the car and a wheel with the yellow line around the rim.. The kind of look I was hoping for.

Doesn't look as nice as I would hope for some reason..

I have ordered some dark yellow rim tape so I think I will get the wheels painted black first and then make my mind up :)
 
I told you... :D

I think it's there two much black... spokes are too thick and there's a lot of tyre and it all just blends in too much and just looks like you've got one sold piece.

Go for the shadow chrome look and with no yellow rim. Nice and classy! :thumbsup:

Haha.. I still think black will look good but maybe Matt black as opposed to gloss black as Matt black seems to have a more lighter appearance.

Im painting the rims myself so shadow chrome is not an option. Decided against spending over £200 on powdercoating as they are only winter rims at the end of the day. From reading write ups on the net I am pretty confident I can get a good finish.
 
I think I read somewhere people were using something called Plasticote for painting wheels black. Gives a fairly satin finish, rubust enough for everyday use but can be peeled off when you're bored. Might be a cheap option to get you through the winter. One guy was using it on his 911's front splitter.
 
Keep in mind thats matching your current wheel size, so they're looking like 19's at the moment.
mmm-fives yellow kind of distracts you from the rest of the image, needs toning down a touch
 
I will look into the plasticoat thanks for the advice.. At the moment I have bought chemical metal, celluslose primer and standard cellulose paint from Halfords which tends to be the materials used on many DIY wheel refurbs on the net. They can always be returned though quite easily if the plasticoat looks a better alternative.

Regards the yellow rim tape, the stuff I have ordered is only 6mm and a dark mustard yellow which will match my interior. I am hoping it looks more like your photoshop image.

Don't know why but the pic with the black wheels with yellow pinstripe makes it look 'american' to me whereas with the existing wheels looks like its european 8) :? :?
