Black kidney grilles, yay or nay?

Very simple. Pull the bottom whilst pushing to the top a little. About as straight-forward as it gets.

That's the same as the ones I have but looking to replace with all chrome in the off-chance that's what you're replacing?
 
That's a shame, we could've done a straight swap. Fancy selling them?
 
Fitted them today, I am really pleased with the result - and I'm glad I went for the Chrome / Black combo rather than all black...

I went the "other" way, spraying the chrome wit black plastidip, as IMO the colour of the fins denotes a 3.0L rather than a lesser model...

I'm not really arsed about that, all the pictures of the Z4M Coupe have the same sort colour as whats on mine now, so I think you'd have to be a real BMW nerd for that to really matter :poke:

///M's are a different kettle of fish add people know, unless you're trying to make yours look like an ///M?

Nope not trying to make it into an M, for example I like the wheels that are on there, so they'll be getting re-furbed next, and I have no plans on doing a quad exhaust conversion or anything like that (at least not for the forseeable). I just prefer the look of it now, I think it looks more modern and aggressive without being OTT. Before you mentioned it, I had no idea silver fins = 3.0 engine, although by virtue of it being a tin top it's 3.0 and 3.2 and thats it :)

I had a couple of tramadol once given to me by a friend who had a bike accident. Very pleasant, but from what I hear, a bit moreish.
 
I like both looks, at the moment I'm favouring the black grilles as they compliment my gloss black alloys and hardtop

yes but are they from china or are they oem genuine black grilles i meant as i find the aftermarket dont fit great the clips ar eso poor if you tug the grille they come out very easy. Ive seen 4 bmw z4 in my area last week with no grilles so just wondered

oh, I see - they are oem genuine black ones, fit nice and tight :wink:
 
yeah aftermarket isnt great fit someone stole mine last week and since then ive sen 4 other bmw z4 with no grilles one poor sod had no side indicators too their not cheap to replace. Someone obviously knows these aftermarket black grilles just pop out very easy to be stealing them
