Turns out I'll be leaving early for this. So I reckon if there is any updates, IMZ4N (I so just got what that said) will post them. I may be by an internet connection I may not. See ya'll at the fest. (IMZ4N - just call/text me the channel ya'll will be on)

Traveling from San Diego to meet Bob and Robyn at Kelly's Saturday morning! Plan on leaving here by 0310. Anyone else heading north then too? :?

There sure is a way. In the #2 post of this thread , the third pic shows where we will meet just before going into the venue. We will meet between the 101 and the ocean just south on Santa Clause lane.( area marked in blue ) . Arriving at 8:15 and departing at 8:30. We will be meeting Z's from NOCal, NM, AZ, NV, and SoCal. The numbers keep growing Daily. Z's from 8 different forums. Looks like we will rep the Z community very well this year. Looks like 40 or so of us. We will be on FRS radios on channel 12-0. Cindy lives like 10 minutes away from our meet location and will most likely be the first on the meet point.

I have very little info on a roadster photo shoot that the owner of Bimmerfest is planning with the new Z4's . Several BMW mag will be on site. I think we will be asked to join in on this photo shoot in a big way. :D

I'm getting so stoked about Bimmerfest 09, 10th annual.

I confess, I am sugar and will melt. However I will be taking anti-melting medicine and should be good.

I will confess though after seeing those temps I think I'm going to regret not bringing my wind deflector center piece :headbang: :headbang:
 
Well, I can turn the heater and butt warmers way up and leave the top down :P

So bob, if it's drizzling, are you stopping every couple of miles to wipe your car off? :poke:

It's a good excuse to stay indoors in a mexican joint in Downtown Santa Barbara and have some margaritas! :lol: :P

Wish I had butt warmers in my car, not an option at the time, but the heater works so good! Debating if I want to wash my car today, not looking good at all here in San Diego!
 
Well, as we speak, my z4 is at the dealership for service - a front right wheel bearing seems to have started wearing out ... they are working on it and I am optimistic it'll be done today. Luckily I am under warranty :) My backup plan is for wifie and I to take her 5 series tomorrow if my zed is not back. Bob, how far behind the pack of Z's do we have to drive? It is still a bimmer remember,...

On a parallel front, they have a pretty nice new 08 Mz4 sitting there at rusnak - only $55k ... sure looked good ... then I happended to see a new M3 and almost fainted ... it was $86K!!! :? I would expect a 6 series for almost $90,000!!!

A good coat of wax will should help repel rain (cross fingers)
