Bimmerfest 2 May 09! Santa Barbara, Ca

I'm pretty sure I can go. I mean... I haven't missed any of the last five. But school gets hard when you are almost done!

Alright, I'm in. Bimmerfest is conviently the weekend after my two biggest school projects are due. I'm taking the break!

So what is the meet up plan to make sure we all park together?

We will be meeting 12-15 Z's in Santa Barbara and the rest of us will drive up and meet them and roll in together. :D

You know, I should let Bob take over this thread....he'd do better than me at arranging stuff.

Nah, maybe Bob should e-mail you the info so you can put it on the first post. :D That way when I leave something out. everyone will blame you instead of me.

I'm coming up Friday night, not Sat morning. So Bob, just let me know when you guys get there so I can meet you

I still have your number so long as you have not changed it since last year. I will also post where we will be meeting in SB and at what time.

Going to Bimmerfest? Want to see the new Z4 before they hit the dealerships?

Anyone been looking at hotels for the area? Apparently my friends plan fell through so we will be doing the hotel thing. I'd like to be grouped up with as many Z's as possible...

A suggestion:

Santa Clause Lane meeting spot (shown light blue on IMZ4N's second post in this thread. Parking here is on hard pan dirt... :

Further down SC Lane there are shops and what I think is better suited parking as you can see on the left here:

Either is okay but I just thought that if you want to do all you can to keep your Z clean it would be best to avoid parking in the dirt.

Also, a warning...about 2 miles South of Santa Clause Lane is the exit to hiway 150. Just before the 150 exit, I have seen CHP with radar/laser or whatever they are using these days so be cautious in this area. It is easy to be doing +++65 in this area as most people do anyway coming up the 101.

Hey Bob, are ya'll going to group up before going into the area to form up? I talked to my buddy about Anaheim (and once I realized where thats at agreed with him) and we decided to just drive to Santa Barbara, I hate to not be with this forums excellent group of Z's though. So where at in the area of the fest could we meet up?

Where exactly is this spot on google map?

If you were to continue down Santa Clause Lane about 1/4 mile is where the pic de2 posted. I figure that after a 2 hour drive most of us will have more than some dust to QD from the cars. :driving:
