Bimmerfest 2 May 09! Santa Barbara, Ca

Update for me, I'll be meeting ya'll somewhere's around point B, that Bob mentioned. My friends Mom apparently lives near there. We still want a hotel near the grounds so we can drink hardy an all that fun stuff.
It's appearing we will probably drive up Thursday night maybe Friday afternoon.

BIG note, I notice on May 1st (Friday) Speed Ventures is having a run up at Buttonwillow for $180. Who is with me! I'm hitting up that track for sure! I would love to have a tour guide! Maybe I'll make a second post.
I realize now it's a decent bit away from Santa Barbara. Either way my friends and I are staying near there Friday night and driving up Sat morning. So if anyone wants to join in your welcome to!

I checked with my son and daughter, and my wife, and nothing is in the way. I plan on meeting up with your caravan on the 101 waiting between the 23 and Moorpark Road about 7:30am ish. I'll be sitting there drinking coffee waiting for you.

Hello all, I know I majorly flaked on this past weekend event, Poppy run, however, last minute family crisis preempted this possiblity. However, I have sworn myself to attending Bimmerfest and will at the Anaheim gathering place, not sure if it will be just me or 2 of us yet.

Looking forward to it and seeing everyone!

Ugh, I hate those LATE night flights! Some time you will have to be here in actual daylight hours, lest we think you be a vampire, and join us on a run,Bob and Robyn style!

Will this going to be an all day Saturday event? Part of day? Asking because we are wondering if we should plan to stay Saturday night too (coming up on Friday) so as not to be to tired to drive back to San Diego.

Day event for me. If you are going to get a room you better get looking. Most rooms near by will be taken. We will most likely get dinner afterwards.

We are looking into rooms already. Thanks Bob. Dinner with the gang will be great too.
 
I know my friend called AAA and they were able to hook us up with a room fairly close to the event and yet 2 miles from the strip....

I look forward to having dinner with ya'll.
