Beware Motorised W***er!

Mr White Van man really does exist everywhere and is the worst of them all - my latest encounter was last week when we were coming back from Cardiff - we were in our daily driver ( Fiesta ) got to the outskirts of Southampton - enter roundabout and Mr WVM overtakes us on the roundabout on the outside and sideswipes us :x Doesn't stop and buggers off in all the traffic before I get a chance to get his number - I pull in at the next side road expecting to see damage all down the drivers side - miraculously the wing mirror was flattened but sprung back and a sizeable black streak on the front wing turned out to be what looked like rubber that polished out when we got home without even a minor dent. I hope his van wasn't so lucky

Totally agree, but equally worst with bloody Taxi drivers, I’m sure Taxi drivers think that the highway code, speed limits, red traffic lights and pedestrian crossings don’t apply to them.

Last Friday night 01.20 went to pick SWMBO up after her office do in Torquay, I admit I was doing 40 in a 30, but had a mad taxi driver in a mini bus about a foot from my rear bumper flashing me to get out of the way, he waited till we got to some traffic lights then overtook me forcing me to have to swerve sharply and brake. Came to the next set of traffic lights and had to swerve and brake as another taxi jumped a red light and came across in front of me, on the way back had another taxi overtake me doing about 80 in a 30, they're are all mad

hate to say it about taxi drivers but most here are from another country, one that has very few rules about driving except don't hit a cow.. In Calgary they tend to drive slowly so no complaints, but in Vancouver I had the wildest ride ever... idiots!.

I used to have all kinds of twits that had something to prove next to me in the Zeds, I don't seem to run into the same issues in the 911... same HP as the remapped E89 but I know that and they don't. Just ignore them all, they go away eventually :tumbleweed:

Kevin, what are you talking about? Obviously your Picasso isn't the Exclusive model with all the bells and whistles and the fantastically comfortable ride with the superb, torquey bombproof 2 litre diesel engine. Not to mention you can fit a 9' 4" Malibu surf longboard inside it. Oh and also half of Ikea in one hit! Now I've tried shoving all the above into the boot of my Zed, but I have to report, it's a complete non starter no matter how I try to arrange things. Have a word with yerself! :driving:

That said, it's a no brainer which are the wheels of choice of a morning! :D

Beamers tend to be ok, and now I drive one they seem to be quite courteous towards me. It's the mercs, audis and ALL 4x4s that tailgate, overtake when it is not safe to do so and when a lane is closing off drive right towards the end and then force their way in. Grrrrrrr......

heres a clue , some guys are nice ,others not so nice :D http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=59793&sid=9f04432b077064ff46506e7d2f9bb8b7#p880637

Hmmm Have a Z4 and an Audi A6. Im ashamed to say that Iv noticed quite a difference when driving each car on how it is percieved by others. The Z4 well you can kiss good bye to getting out a side junction lol. The Audi its pretty laidback and you never notice any aggression but after taking the z4 out a few times you seem to attract traffic light racers and the like. I just dont bother with them as its not worth it. let em go and you can be sure they will be talking about how they took a z4 at the lights and all that. Im 45 and really left all that about 22 years or so ago. I know im in a nice car an dont need to prove it all the time.

Found opposite..... when in Z4 generally people are much more courteous and I often get waved out at junctions, given right of way, people move out of the lane on motorways, etc. So much so, that a friend I gave a lift to, commented on it ! It's just the boy racers and some men who seem to have their masculinity challenged, and they then have to prove how manly they are by trying to race me at traffic lights. I let them go (generally).

My better half gets let out of junctions all the time in the Z
Me, not so much.
Must be my 'arrogant' angle in the T-junction.....

That's cos you're a girlie, same thing happens to me when I put on my long blonde wig at weekends. (ooops, did I just give too much away?)

Generally, however, other zed drivers in Leicester are pooheads that speed on roads right next to schools, don't indicate and tailgate, and tend to look at me like I am crazy/the dirt on the bottom of their shoe when I wave/smile/flash at them. AND they all seem to have female drivers onboard.

Never had to 'coz I am SUCH a good driver :D

we had a girl in our office who would burst into tears, waggle her ample talent at the cops and never get more than a warning. then drive away laughing. She was SUCH a good driver .... :poke: :poke: :poke:

It's the bursting into tears bit, which I would never resort to, girl at work does it all the time and gets away with murder.
Nowt wrong with waggling your ample talent though.
