Best good looking rims on E85

m3 260m nice and rare too.... most seem to get hold of the 219m.

the detail on these up-close is something to behold.

Sars, you're my new best friend

It's good to have friends :)

and Mr Simmons, I think for a 17" wheel, the 106's are pretty nice

Hi, I have both sets of these...still not sure which I like more on the roadster!
If you are having trouble sleeping at night over which you prefer, you could ship me a set to ease your troubled mind...

The 260M are a thing of beauty, I think a roadster can pull off 18's well when they have a concave like that, also being anthracite .
But in general I think to make the lines of the car work the cars need 19" wheels.
To me, all the factory rims make it look under wheeled in modern traffic.

The OP asked for pictures of non factory wheels away from the usual CSL, which were my thoughts when buying wheels also.

For my early roadster i went for 19" schnitze0r's. they looked good, just right for the car.

Then when i got a coupe i wanted something similar but much more radical, something that went with the design of the car..

rear concave is needed on this shape i think.

The diamond cut face glints in the night lights.

Would not the ride be far more rough with 19" wheels since you would have to reduce the aspect ratio of the tire to compensate? With 17" and 40% aspect, mine are at a comfortable distance from the well and in no danger of rubbing. I would suspect that 19" would require a 20% or somewhere in the neighborhood.

Well 225/35/19 and 255/30/19 and it's amazing how many people prefer looks over comfort....

.....from the girl who lives in heels :D
