I,m with Marlon, has to be the MV2 rim (and easily cleaned too)! :D

Wow agree they look part of the car but cannot agree with the easy clean bit - first time I've needed a toothbrush in my car cleaning kit :poke:

Well 225/35/19 and 255/30/19 and it's amazing how many people prefer looks over comfort....

.....from the girl who lives in heels :D

I honestly don't think the ride is that much different going firm 18's to 19's. Let's face it, it's not a comfy ride on either.!!

As for the heels I can't comment

Hi, I have both sets of these...still not sure which I like more on the roadster!
If you are having trouble sleeping at night over which you prefer, you could ship me a set to ease your troubled mind...

Hi, yeah no problem...which set would you like? I'll pay for postage and give you $1000
Solved... One set for summer (if we ever get one!) and the other set for the year that's winter...

Even worse with Alpina's - 265/30R19 and 235/35R19 :)

I may be lost here, but how is 265/30/19 and 235/35/19 worse than 255/30/19 and 225/35/19?

The alpina tyres would have more sidewall so if anything, would have a 'better' ride than the narrower tyres.

Agreed, the Alpina specs have a better ride with the increased sidewalls:

- 265/30 means a sidewall of 79.5mm
- 255/30 means a sidewall of 76.5mm

so 3mm in it. Is it a "better" ride? I would hazard that most people wouldn't notice the difference.
BTW - My comment was aimed at the "prefer looks". Of course, Alpina don't do tyres, but if they did..... :)

These look really good to me and it's nice to see something different. Do you know the widths and offsets by any chance?

These also look surprisingly good. I'm used to seeing this kind of wheel on VW's but they work nicely on the Z4. Perhaps a little too bold for me to put on mine but nice all the same

I would like to know what the OEM 17" alloy rims on my '07 3.0i weigh and how they compare in weight to aftermarket rims? Unsprung weight can be a big deal.

Anyone got a picture of 437s(m4 wheels) on an e85? Will they even fit?

10.36 KG/22.8 pounds, thanks for the link. On the MX-5's wheel weight is a very big issue, it probably isn't as important when you have this much HP/torque.. any comments?

Some more pics for Beedub she's been of the road most of the year had the some tlc had new rear discs and pads intrax 1k2 refurbed stone chips sorted and some one removed the 10mm spacers on the front wheels think it was when I had the tyres fitted on order from simpson Motorsport just picked a hard top up from a good friend for £200 in silver think I will carbon wrap this can't wait to pick this up but still need suspension setting up after the new year at roddison Motorsport did you have yours corner weighted
