bargains still to be had.

I'm not trying to change anything, just what I have read and been told. I think the dealer was talking about buying a car off me with Nav, not what they can sell it for. They are dealers at the end of the day! :P

By the way, out of interest, find somewhere on the net that says that Nav will increase the selling price of a car by a big margin?
Anyone got a Glasses guide? Just interested. :)

I just had a right laugh talking to Hexagon BMW about the 36k car. They also have an 07 plate car for 29k and was told "good luck to you finding one cheaper" - they seemed to ignore some of the facts I had for them , right up themselves bunch of dreamers. They then proceeded to treat me like I was insulting them. I pity anyone doing business with `em . They have three in stock in total. Now I`ve watched the prices for over a year, 29k 07 plate car? Wow

i would class them as arrogant and ignorant :x They have a 98 Z3M in imola red up for £16k, what planet are they on?

Dealer gave me a price for my Z4 using the computer records as the car was 6 foot up in the air having the head changed.

As a result he wasnt aware I had retrofitted Nav and Carbon Leather Trim, they incread the price by £250.

Before I fitted it I asked a salesman what effect fitting nav would have, he said if it was an X5 would increase by £1k, but not important on Z4.

At the end of the day it's down to personal preference, OEM Nav ok for A-B but crap for cruises etc, no cables is obviously a plus point.

I've found them to be generally s**t and living in price dream land. I phoned to arrange test drive of a 14k mile blue one they had a while ago. Drove an hour and a half Saturday afternoon to test drive it with my other half to find it sitting in the showroom "Oh, I don't offer test drives on this. Probably should have told you on the phone"

Then I mentioned that he was quite keen on the price since I'd seen a similar spec and mileage sepang bronze one in the AUC system in Hull or something. He rubbished it by claiming it was the same revolting orange colour as the vinyl-wrapped M3 CS they had in the showroom (and hope they still do, if someone bought that I pity them.)

I don't know how they've managed to gain their "M Specialist" tag.

Hexagons aftersales service is pretty shoddy too.... :fuelfire:

That said, I suppose technically they're doing us owners a favour by pushing the prices up, surely.... ? :?

Or maybe fuelling the belief of or ///marketing or ///Mugs - only a mug would pay their prices :)

Maybe I was a little insulting - I asked about the 37k at more like 27k. The response was "you want us to knock 10grand off a 37 grand car?". My response was "yeah, it`s a way overpriced 37grand car" - end of conversation :poke:

Very true but it seems like they are trying to buy up good examples and keep prices high, so some people may have no choice - they did the same with the M3 CSL too.

I was about to buy a car from Hexagon but the way they dealt with me made me decide not to. Cars are very overpriced in my opinion and the ones I looked at by 5/6k. Their trade in prices are very good though....
