I am a registered Republican but must admit that my hand quivered over the lever before voting for McCain-Palin. We had a choice between one who would have been a great president eight years ago, and one who might be a great president eight years from now! I have real concerns but the best thing for all of us would be for him to turnout to be a great president, we really need one!
totally agree with the last line. Tough road ahead for all; let's hope he doesn't make it tougher.My last 2 cents on the topic...I have HOPE (not faith) in our President Elect. The kind of hope this country hasn't felt (for those old enough to remember) since the Kennedy administration. The election of our first black president is an amazing turn of events on multiple fronts. How 'bout we all embrace it, support our new President and let the healing begin.

I have had hope...but not to this degree.
I just pray, hope, do the hucklebuck, anything to keep us away from acts like the traitor LBJ. We are in desperate need of good legislators (approval rating is much lower than W's ever was), a strong cabinet and leadership. BHO has given us great oration...now give us leadership. Blind faith in anyone that gives good speech without substance is what got BHO elected. Now is time to start kickin some ass. Pelosi should be first on the list for failing to do any of the many promises she made in 2006. Yeah, she gives great speech too. Perhaps it is time for her to join W on the unemployment line.
