Sorted
I have to say I agree with Tom - I don't think it needs spacers, looks perfect as-is. I do love a Z ass

I'm not convinced yet  I might try the spacers and see what it looks like :)

car looks lovely, alot lower than my track spec suspended z4m.... how do you find the handling??

I only did a short test drive today as I just mounted them this afternoon. But on the first test already scraped the road twice
Other than that there isn't much difference in handling, although, it feels stiffer though (and harder)

Looking great bad the front looks lower on yours than mine!!

Any rubbing? I hope not

I have a little rubbing in the front, on the black plastic at the top of the bumper, but I noticed it already rubbed before as well. No rubbing in the rear.
Nothing too serious

Good news hope you don't get any!! My rubbing now is only the front now same place as you.

I have 12mm on the front. But will be trying 15mm -20mm soon once I have time to make them!!

How wide are your front rims and what ET?
I think mine are ET27 all around and 8,5 wide in the front

Do your rims stick out with the 12mm spacers?

LOL. :D

Are there any proper "low riders" on this forum, Skunkworks style?

If you mean seriously slammed cars, then I think Marius' Zed is the lowest on this forum? Other than that there is this famous green Zed (not on this forum) that used to be red, that everyine hates on here, though it looks quite nice, lol (apart from the frog colour). That one is so low the rims hit the arches

Car looks brilliant mate! I see what you mean about the front spacers. I ended up putting 15mm spacers at the front of mine. cos the rear sits so nicely just inside the arches it seemed rude not to do the same to the front! :P

On second thought... seems to rub in the back after all :(

I see... so if 15mm works, 12 mm shouldn't be an issue... I now have another task for the weekend :-D

So I was getting some rubbing at the rear, especially at the corner where the rear bumper meets the arches, quite a bit of plastic already shaven off, but I think that's from before the lowering as well. So I tried rolling the arches myself. I heated the arches with a heatgun to make the paint a little more flexible as I heard a lot about the paint cracking. Then I took a plastic pipe (about 2,5 inches or 5 cm), lifted the car a bit and rolled the pipe in the wheel gap over the tyre. The inner lip now has a V-shape and the arches are slightly pulled out as well, which I don't mind. Then I mounted 12mm spacers on the front wheels as well. She now has a much better stance in the front as well :)

NICE!!! That looks better mate! How's the front now with rubbing?

I haven't done a test drive yet, but I don't expect much difference, it's the rears that make awful sounds when hitting the arches :|
But I suppose it will stop at the point where the plastic has scraped enough

Pi9cture looks good, but when you look closely you can see a reflection of buildings and car park in the paintjob

looking good mate... although i still think that drain pipe sprayed red you have under the front grills - looks like a drain pipe sprayed red.... spoils it a little?

Thoug I still like my red drain pipe, I'm thinking of getting a BMC airbox with RPI air scoop, red obviously :D
But for now, the drainpipe stays
