This just popped up in the bad parking thread on PH. Forum member?

Me like everyone else can probably sympathise. If over people had more respect for other people's property the driver wouldn't need to park like that.!!

Perhaps this ought to be called excellent parking, and all the morons who cause all the dinks and scrapes should be highlighted instead. My daughter returned to her car at the weekend after correctly parking within the lines to find some one had scraped her front wing and bumper. Any note? What do you think? So hats off to the person in the picture. As you can tell I am fairly annoyed by this.

Just thought it might be a forum car with those headlights. To be honest, if a car park is empty I'll go right to the furthest point and park like that too. Too many times have my previous motors had dings in doors and wings. And yes, you guessed it, no message or note left. People don't appreciate other people's property.

Sorry Roundozo, I realize you were wondering wether this was a forum car but it just got my goat a little.

And then you get one of those invoices from those parking companies as you are outside the lines :D

Anyway, won on appeal anyway ....

Cant blame them always did same till I got £60 bill, Its these effin car park owners painting narrow bays to get more vehicles on site, and thoughtless parents who let there kids kick their doors open to get out. :headbang:  Baz

car parks I hate them  had a bloke in a merc reverse back trying to get away from a parking attendant booking him for no ticket hit front of the car that hard pushed me back a foot into a wall so front bumper gone and rear bumper just drove off a old chap saw it happen and waited till I came back give me the details then straight round to the cop shop to report it they made me feel as if I was the criminal .

AFAIK the bays are the same size, it's just that the cars are getting fatter

/\ /\ /\ This. I've been saying for ages that cars are getting more and more lard arsed as the years go on, yet the parking bays are apparently designed to accommodate nothing bigger than a 1936 Austin 7.

I just never take the Zed to an Asda / Tesco type car park or any kind of retail park now, that's what Ford Focii are for. Last time I ever did take my car to such a place it was my MX5, I left the top down and was only gone a few minutes. When I got back there was a kid - from the car parked next to it as it turned out - leaning over my door and dribbing his effin' ice cream and kidsnot all over my leather seat. When I asked 18 year old mother of 5 Laffita (who was, addmitedly, struggling to get the other 4 kids of varying colours into her car) to kindly get her festering little sprog the f**k off my car, I was treated to a hail of abusive expletives - nice girl. Bit lacking in vocabulary but she did have a half decent pair of tits on her it must be said.........must have been all the breast feeding.

Sorry, I know I shouldn't laugh but that was a fantastic rant

I got ranted at by a chav mother cos I parked In a blue badge bay!
Badge on show (all legit) but the type of car didn't suit the badge ( or probably me!)

After years spent working in a mans environment I learned a few new words  - I think she might have been a freelance Sunday school teacher out with her children.

I park like that when all the blue badge bays are filled up with cash point cripples et al and others then park right next to me making getting in the car murder again. I smile wryly when I leave at their parking.

An old pal of mine (T4 ) used to park directly behind frauds in blue badge bays - he took ages to get his chair and himself back onto the car!

Hah, good man!

There's a big Sainsbury's on the Finchley Road near me, which I love because all the Hampstead mob shop there so there's often some seriously nice (or disgustingly vulgar) metal on display. Lots of GTRs, RS7s, Bentley CGTs, M6s etc - cars that don't fit in standard-sized parking spaces. :o

Now a lot of these guys/girls flagrantly abuse the blue badge and mother/child spaces, but occasionally it's nice to be surprised by legitimate blue-badged luxury car usage or a child seats in an FF. :D

Not many people challenge parking in blue badge bays in the UK
In Germany I was challenged on a few occasions !
