Back in Z4MC ownership- and building a track beast :)

I have pretty much exactly the same setup enroute to me at the moment as well. Should see my KW Clubsports next week. I also went for the camber adjustable top mounts and rogue engineering rear top mounts. My Royals wheel is arriving tomorrow. Black Alcantara, M stitching and a red TDC strip. The Vibratechnic mounts have already arrived along with a wheel stud conversion. I also have a front Brembo BBK sitting waiting to be fitted as well. Like you, I also can't wait to get everything fitted and tried out.

I would recommend going for a square setup on the wheels and tires. It really improves the understeer. I use 18x9 265/35/18 on my CSL. Very happy with it.

I think the KW Clubsports will resolve any tendency to understeer and a far better solution.

I am also running KW CS.

If you can't control understeer with KW CS, then you need to modify your driving style.

I have the camber plates too, but I need far less negative camber now I have the rest of the set up (besides, if you're interested, Exdos will tell you how it's really all about toe / castor and not negative camber). The RE top mounts are great. Beedub also put me on to some front strut tower reinforcement plates - with this suspension set up and slick or semislick tyres the loads conferred to the strut towers are far more than with the OEM set up. It's worth investing in RTAB limiters too if you haven't already.

Just wanted to give you my opinion my friend, since you asked. Thank you for your wonderful advice :)

Rear trailing arm bushes have been replaced and a limited kit fitted already :-)

Very interested to hear more (link to buy?) about the strut reinforcement plates as I too run semi slicks.

A strut bar will also do the same as the re-enforcement plates as it spreads the pressures going through the towers, plus they look cool when you pop the bonnet.

A strut brace doesn't cover much of the surface area of the top of the strut tower (and likely serves more of a cosmetic role than mechanical - I have them on both my Zed and my S2000). The reinforcement plates sit within the strut towers and cover the entire inner surface of the strut tower. This is a link to them I found from Google. I bought mine directly from BMW for about £7

Yes I had them when I had my intrax, well worth it as a precaution to punching a hole through the strut tower.
71.7.036.781 about £7 from BMW iirc

yup yup those are the ones.... combined with the SB you will have all the protection you need, any coilover that uses an aftermarket solid top mount should be using these imo, the strut tops are thin material on the grand scheme of things and the smaller hard mounted tops are stressful, these 2 items are cheap insurance imo... SB definitely adding to the protection from the top side.

I think you missed the first two numbers: 51717036781

Shocking! Think my 2 year old niece could do better.
I hear more and more unsatisfied customers from Royals these days. He used to be reputable but it seems quality control has gone downhill as business increases. Shame.
Personally I also wouldn't go for the alcantara as even when done right it reportedly will not last in good condition for long. Really meant for use with gloves as I'm sure you are aware.

My KW Clubsports arrived today. Just short of 2 weeks since placing my order which I think is pretty good. A nice little surprise is that they come with drop links which is an added bonus. Hopefully get them fitted next week :-)

I don't remember mine coming with drop links, just camber plates, but it was a long time ago.
You'll need adjustable drop links if you decide to fit stiffer ARBs.
They're lovely to behold and really well engineered. It was a bit disappointing to hide them under the car!
